FRIENDS CUT (cut basically everyone, don't panic, read for more info!)
I'm feeling a tad bit on the insecure side (surprise, surprise!) so I'm doing a friends cut. I have cut everyone from my friends list except for a select few who I know for sure would answer "Yes" to the following question. For the rest of you, please read the following question and answer it honestly to yourselves before commenting to be re-added. Remember, the situation is hypothetical, and atm I am still very much in love with my fandoms (TVXQ, Dir en grey, etc).
To those of you who've friended me recently, sorry to do a cut so soon! Please comment if you're interested in the not-so-spazzy side of me :)

(If your answer is "Yes," please stay!)No hard feelings to those who don't comment. :) To be honest, it'd help me out a lot as well, as having people who are only my friends because of shared fandoms makes me feel pretty worthless at times. ... I am currently writing Harry Potter!verse Yunho/Jaejoong. It is now 1,500+ (edit:) 3,500+ words in length. Blame ibaranonamida. :| I think I will post it (to my currently unprettified fanworks community, ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif)

Also, today Katie gave me a parting hug when my hair was down and started giggling and I was like "what?" and she said for a second she thought she was hugging Yoochun. DIES. Oh god, I love my bleached bits, as horrific as they may be to some. Katie, tysm for making me feel hot like Yoochun.

Well, since I'm in Japan and the Fourth of July doesn't really equate to Independence Day here (it really is my favorite holiday- what can I say, I like barbecue and fireworks and Will Smith and, oh, also America), I guess I may as well find some other reason to celebrate it.
I was going to do some wallpaper but this has been the most stressful week ever and I can't focus on anything, so instead, I'm sharing all of Jin's solos and duets (well, at least, all the ones that I have). I also uploaded one of his performances of 'Care' and his version of the Real Face PV.

※ So I went on a downloading spree when my bandwidth reset (as usual). I thank fandom for cheering me up when I need it.
→ Kanjani's Daidaman was fun to watch. Not so much the ramen part but I've always loved slow motion shots. Plus the dokkiri on Ryo. What had me highly amused though was You's comment at the end though. "Are these sort of jobs okay for you guys as a group?" The look on Yoko's and Ryo's face. ♥ :D
→ All the groups activities seem to be stuck in a rut. Except Arashi. With Maou and Hanadan Final, all the stuff I seem to be watching lately seems to have Ohno and MatsuJun in it. Out of everything I've watched, I have to recommend Himitsu no Arashi-chan #12: MatsuJun & Ooshima's date and Ohno and Toma on Tokyo Friends Park II. TFPII was the cutest thing ever, and I had such a hard time muffling my giggles when watching Arashi-chan at 4am in the morning. I'm sure both can be found ata_ra_shi.
→ Need to finish up downloading/watching Spring dramas to make space for the Summer dramas starting tomorrow. Fallen behind on Rookies, Puzzle, Zettai Kareshi, Gokusen 3, and Osen. Looking forward to Code Blue, Maou and Yasuko to Kenji. Need to look up what other summer drama's there are.

I'm not sure how excited I am for this trip. I deffinately cant wait to take big-kid pictures with the new camera but other then that...I dont know. Brian, the what....4? 5? year old thats comming along with his family and his sister (His sister is 11, and shes like the great little sister I never had.), is a complete and utter whiny little boy. (Did you follow that? haha) But hes adorable and he'll keep me company.
Ugh. I'm not looking foward to having to dine out for 6 days in a row for every meal except breakfast. *_* Gah. Theres no healthy food options! And even if tehre was my mom would be like "ARE YOU TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT AGAIN" and my dad would porbably end up throwing a potato at me or something and start threatening me. Again.
You know what I love/hate? How my dad thinks threatening to resign from his job (Wtf, resign? Only people of high...ranking can say that) and moving our family to another state is a good threat to get me to start eating more. I think if he ever did that, I would just 'rebel' more and starve myself. Just to prove my point that hes a control freak. :)
Not looking forward to missing the Olympic Trials on TV. See, if this was a normal vacation, then that would be awesome because the hotels would have cable (they ALWAYS have cable) and I would get to watch every day and every event of the trials on the USA network. But no. This friggin hotel (Well, the 3 hotels that we're jumping to and from within Yellowstone) has no TV. Or internet.
Hence my thankfulness that Brian and his big sister Cathy will be there to keep me company.
...Oh jeez, almost a week without hitting the pool. And I have the last swim meet of the season next weekend. My last chance to make Zones :D (Like thats gonna happen.) But still. I wanna end this season with a BANG. Not with multiple athsma attacks and a bunch of seconds added on my plate.
Leaving at 5pm tommorow. (Hah, my brother is driving us there. I need to wear a helmet in the car. Can never be too safe.) Arriving at Idaho at past midnight. Great, just great. I wont even get to enjoy my last few moments with a TV in Idaho before we go off to the middle of nowhere to the TV-less hotel because THE FLIGHT IS SO FREAKING LATE. And time zones. Damn time zones.

TICKET HAS BEEN SOLD, NO LONGER AVAILABLE.
Because I originally bought a single ticket for myself, and then decided to get a pair for me and a friend, I have an extra ticket available to the Kanjani8 Tokyo Dome concert on this Sunday, July 6 (at 6pm, I believe). If anyone is interested in going, please email me at elizabeth_king2@emerson.edu. Please do not reply to this post if you're interested; email me instead.
The cost of the ticket is 90USD (via paypal) or 10000 yen (in cash, at a meetup). The ticket itself cost me 10000 yen, the $90 is rounding it down a bit.
Also, I ordered the tickets before seat information was released, so I'm not sure of the seat yet. I really won't know until I receive the ticket in the next few days.
I know it's slightly last minute, but hopefully somebody who wants it can make it.
And just an end note: I've bought the ticket already but have not received it yet. There's no reason it shouldn't be delivered in time, but please don't be angry with me if for some reason something were to go wrong. Obviously if for some reason I don't get the ticket (lost in the mail, doesn't get here in time, etc.), and you've already paid, then you will be fully refunded. There really shouldn't be any problems; I just don't want anyone mad at me if something bad were to happen.

So instead of dealing with that hellish request list (in which I listed all the files I had and let people make requests- bad idea), I'm going to begin slowly upping stuff. Today I bring you KAT-TUN's three albums. There may be a few files missing because, you know, I only have one version of each album, though I usually try to get the extra songs that aren't on the version I buy, so.
Oh, and in case anyone was interested, the request list is still up, and you can still download anything that's there that's already been uploaded. I'm just not taking anymore requests at the moment.
EDIT: I have the rest of the songs on Disc 2 of the second album...I just don't have the files on my computer and the CD is back in America. So I won't be able to upload them for another six weeks or so. Apologies.

this is the summertime
Just a quick post before I fly back to HK.
I'm sorry that I haven't been on LJ more even when I said I would try. It's just that the last week of school was way more hectic than I thought it would be. School's finished now, and I'm going back to HK soon, but I'm not sure whether I'll be able to get regular Internet access in HK. So, um, maybe hiatus? I don't know yet.
But anyway, have a fantastic summer, everyone! Well, for those who live in the Northern Hemisphere, that is. To everyone else, have a wonderful... winter? I love you all. (: I miss talking to you guys. ♥

.... Cries. Last night I kind of bashed my forehead into the wall by accident. It was 3 in the morning and the lights in my room were off and I missed the bathroom entrance by a few... feet. *whimper* Now I have a bump on my head and it hurts... D:
Yesterday I went PS2 game shopping and I got... Bujingai(: The Forsaken City)!! I know I know, I'm like three years late with this, I am the worst Gackt fan ever. Anyway, it is really good! Stfu, I am rarely ever able to play an action game without crying-- two nights ago I got out my N64 and tried to play Majora's Mask (Zelda), which I've never been able to get more than 10 minutes ago, and I... shrieked and threw my controller across the room in fear. But Bujingai! Thanks to Gackt's grunts and groans, I am able to kick ass (to a certain degree) and watch Gackt's lookalike flail around unnecessarily! It is wonderful. I also got FFX, which I've seen played many times through (thanks to my cousin) but have never played myself (out of fear...) Uhh... GANBARIMASU! Katamari Damacy and We ♥ Katamari are on the way as well :D I ordered them online fklajsd so excited desu!!! Shut up, I know I'm a lametard for getting a PS2 after the PS3 comes out but I seriously am not a video game person. I bought the first two Harry Potter PC games a long time ago and I tried to play one, and it got to the part where the Bloody Baron was making his rounds in the dungeons and I had a panic attack and nightmares for days. *DIES*
And lastly, Georgetown sent me my grades for last term! I knew that my cumulative GPA was 3.6, but it turns out my GPA for last term was 3.7! Aish, all that stressing paid off, I guess! I know it's not a 4.0 or even a 3.9, but it's a step in the right direction.
K, now excuse me while I go back to reading Yunjae lookalike manga *kicked* Shut up, I totally didn't scourfree_manga and yshare for manga whose characters looked like Yunho and Jaejoong. Nor do I now have 2 GB worth of Yunjae lookalike manga on my harddrive........... *shakes*
Yesterday I went PS2 game shopping and I got... Bujingai(: The Forsaken City)!! I know I know, I'm like three years late with this, I am the worst Gackt fan ever. Anyway, it is really good! Stfu, I am rarely ever able to play an action game without crying-- two nights ago I got out my N64 and tried to play Majora's Mask (Zelda), which I've never been able to get more than 10 minutes ago, and I... shrieked and threw my controller across the room in fear. But Bujingai! Thanks to Gackt's grunts and groans, I am able to kick ass (to a certain degree) and watch Gackt's lookalike flail around unnecessarily! It is wonderful. I also got FFX, which I've seen played many times through (thanks to my cousin) but have never played myself (out of fear...) Uhh... GANBARIMASU! Katamari Damacy and We ♥ Katamari are on the way as well :D I ordered them online fklajsd so excited desu!!! Shut up, I know I'm a lametard for getting a PS2 after the PS3 comes out but I seriously am not a video game person. I've been coughing for 10 days now-- roughly!
Not like it's continous. Just that anytime someone decides to strike up a conversation with me, I start 'kekk kekk'-ing and abruptly ceasing any sort of human contact.
So now-- here I am. was going to do massive photo post of nihon and taipei. TOO LAZY. :'D i will get to that shortly. shortly shortly.

※ Ok, so I finally remembered to start taking photos for the "Week in the Life of" meme and since I actually had plans this week I thought I'd start it. But having spent the last hour trying to upload photos painfully because my bandwidth is dead, I have decided to give up. So I'm sorry. It's a chore loading even any site at all, let alone uploading photos. Would it be cheating if I continued to take photos but started uploading them on the 1st when my bandwidth resets?
※ My internet is suuuper slow (I think it's going at like 2-5kb/s) and loading anything would piss me off, so I'll probably be away from LJ for the rest of the month. Just loading this post page took me 20 mins. >.< I will do my best to catch up once my bandwidth resets. Sorry this was such a useless post. Hope everyone takes care, and I promise to spam everyone with comments/posts on the 1st. Now I'm running off to curl up with some hot tea and a couple of seasons of brainlessly marathoning Friends.

I...need to stop beating a dead horse.
I get oddly philosophical and annoyed when people who rag on those for no reason decide to make an issue of a non-issue.
Spike Effing Lee. Like this guy. What the hell. I do *not* like this man. I don't hate him; I'm not a hating person, though I may strongly dislike people. But. Uhm. What. The. Hell.
I know this whole smackdown between he and Clint Eastwood is old news. I mentioned it weeks ago. But I ran into a new article today in which Lee fired back at Eastwood and it got me quite pissed off. This article's dated 6th June, but.
Honestly, I'm irate again. And this poster said it best:
"Spike Lee would complain if there were no black actors in a movie about Chinese opera singers in Japan."
*headdesk* I hate to admit the poster is right...
For goodness' sake. Flags of Our Fathers is about the SIX FLAG RAISERS. ALL WHITE. GET OVER IT. Letters from Iwo Jima? UH, IT'S JAPANESE. IN JAPANESE WITH JAPANESE ACTORS. WHAT THE EFFING HELL, SPIKE. There aren't even a lot of *WHITES* in Japan, have you *any* significant understanding of the lack of racial diversity in Japan?
No? No? Really? I'm not surprised.
What an asshat.
